SAU Organised Interactive session on Institutional social responsibility

District Nodal Officer – Mr. Panu Pazo, Assistant Professor from Namchi Government College, Kamrang, visited Sikkim Alpine University Campus with an aim to promote and encourage Sustainable Practices in the Campus. An interactive session was conducted in the presence of the Registrar, Faculties and the students of the University.

The session emphasized on Institutional Social Responsibility and its positive impact on the Institution, the faculties, the students and the village. Institutional Social Responsibility covers five parameters which includes Health and Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, Energy Management and Green Campus respectively. These practices will be carried out in collaboration with the local Self Help Groups (SHGs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and the participation of the local population.
