ALPINE SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCES
The School of Life Sciences at Sikkim Alpine University is dedicated to nurturing scientific excellence through quality education, cutting-edge research, innovation, and community engagement. Located in the biodiversity-rich Himalayan region of Sikkim, the School offers students a unique opportunity to study biological sciences in one of the world’s most ecologically significant environments.
Our academic programmes combine theoretical knowledge with extensive laboratory training, field-based learning, research projects, internships, and industry interaction. The School prepares graduates for careers in research, healthcare, biotechnology, environmental conservation, academia, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and emerging interdisciplinary sciences.
The curriculum has been designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), multidisciplinary education principles, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE), ensuring graduates are equipped with scientific competence, analytical skills, innovation, and ethical responsibility.
