Special Lecture on “Contributions of Claude Levi Strauss in Sociology”
On 12th August 2022,
The Department of Sociology, Sikkim Alpine University, organised a Special Lecture on the “Contributions of Claude Levi Strauss in Sociology”. The invited Guest Speaker Ms. Niyati Rekha Sharma, is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Mahishadal Girls’ College, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal.
The program was attended by both the faculties and the students of the Department of Sociology. The special lecture proved to be a good experience for the students as it exposed them to one of the theoretical roots of Sociology. The lecture received positive feedback from both the students and the speaker.
