Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 – Pledge-Taking Programme

Sikkim Alpine University Observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on Date: 27th October 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kamrang Campus and Sunakhari Campus.

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 (27th October – 2nd November), directed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Sikkim Alpine University organised simultaneous Pledge-Taking Ceremonies at Kamrang and Sunakhari Campuses on 27th October 2025 at 11:00 AM.

At the Kamrang Campus, the event was hosted by Ms. Binita Sherpa and commenced with an address by Dr. Subhankar Gurung, highlighting the importance of vigilance, integrity, and transparency. Mr. Bimal Thapa led the gathering in taking the Integrity Pledge. A total of 14 faculty members and 139 students participated.

At the Sunakhari Campus, Dr. Sareena Subba, Deputy Registrar, delivered an address on the significance of Vigilance Awareness Week, after which 17 faculty members and 44 students took the Integrity Pledge.

The event underscored the collective responsibility of citizens, organisations, and institutions in promoting ethical conduct, good governance, and responsible citizenship in alignment with the national objective of eradicating corruption.
