Student Induction and Orientation Programmes 2025

Sikkim Alpine University organized a series of Student Induction and Orientation Programmes 2025 across departments to welcome newly admitted students and help them integrate into the academic and social environment of the university.

The programmes, conducted by the Departments of Botany, Zoology, Geography, English, Sociology, Economics, Computer Application, History, and Special Education, focused on familiarizing students with departmental structures, academic curricula, and university facilities. Sessions included syllabus orientation, mentor–mentee interaction, and briefings on important university cells such as the Anti-Ragging Cell, Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC).

Faculty members highlighted institutional values, research opportunities, and co-curricular activities, while senior students shared their experiences to motivate the new batch. Each event concluded with an undertaking on attendance and conduct, fostering accountability and discipline.

The induction programmes successfully set a positive tone for the academic session, promoting inclusivity, awareness, and engagement among students—marking the beginning of an enriching journey at Sikkim Alpine University.
