SAU Orientation Program 2021 for Five Days Started Successfully

Five – Day Online Orientation Program for 2021 Batch-UG & PG of Sikkim Alpine University Successfully started on 15th November, 2021.

Two Eminent Media Personalities as Guest Speakers addressed the students participating from across the Disciplines

Guest Speaker- I

Mr. Yougan Tamang Co-founder, Sikkim Chronicle Accomplished Media Personality attended the Program as the 1st Guest Speaker who shared a candid anecdote about his personal struggle and accomplishments despite various socio-cultural obstacles. It indeed was an inspiring address and the key element of his talk was mental health issues that young people are facing and the ways to overcome them. He further emphasized how important it is to have a positive social life and the vital role friends play in our life.

Guest Speaker-II

Mr. Pema Wangchuk The eminent Civil Society Member and Senior Journalist from the Region (Senior Consulting Editor of Summit Times) attended the Program as one of the Guest Speakers who addressed the students about the significance of being a constructive force in society while emphasizing the role of practical knowledge and skill in shaping their future. He further interacted actively with faculty members and students.
