International Mother Language Day 2024

SAU Observed International Mother Language Day 2024: International Mother Language Day 21st Feb 2024 was observed at Sunakhari Campus, SAU. Talks pertaining to historical, political and sociological importance of languages, role of languages in international relations, importance of languages viz. English and Limboo were delivered in the said observance. Emphasis was laid on importance of mother-language, poem recitation was also an activity carried out during this observance.

This particular program was observed by the School of Languages and Literature (Department of Limboo, Department of Nepali, and Department of Lepcha).
